I am a retired online school teacher. I love family history. From 2007-2020, I spent much of my time providing part-time support for the world's largest free family history site https://familysearch.org This is very rewarding. I have helped others with the Family Tree and related FamilySearch products.
In 2010-2018 I served in the Edmonton_Alberta_Riverbend_Family_History_Centre..I have a FHC blog at Bill's Family History Center Blog Since 2020 I have been a family history consultant for Edmonton Alberta North Stake. All of our children were home for Christmas day. Evelyn's family and Rob came on the 24th and spent the night with us too. The only member of our family who was missing was Tananda, it was Kelwyn and Amy's turn to have her for Christmas. We had a wonderful time together. We are so fortunate to have such a nice family! It is kind of funny. On Wednesday, January 9, I was so busy helping patrons of familysearch.org (and having a wonderful time!) that I forgot I was supposed to be coaching five new people. That has been fun too. All five are from western Canada and are eager to get started. I can hardly believe that about one quarter of my 24 months has already passed. And there is still so much more to learn! Life is good!
